Our Commitment to Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy, we would like to explain our on-line information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. The Information We Collect

This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the Beyond website Web sites: www.beyondexchange.org. In general, our system may collect usage information that we use in aggregate form to improve our Web site and maintain site security.

On some pages, you can make requests, apply to programs, register to receive materials and order products and services, and interact with prospective, current, and/or former participating agents, exchange participants or trainees. The types of personal information collected on these pages are name, address, e-mail address and phone number. Personal information necessary to process your application is also requested either through our Web site or on program application forms and include information such as skills, experience, educational background and biographical data, eligibility information, and data needed to make arrangements for your participation in Beyond Exchange programs, assist in the issuance of a work permit or an Certificate of Eligibility form, or ensure a safe and successful employment/internship/training program experience, credit/debit card information and expressed interest in specific programs, services, or related information.

On some pages, you can submit information about other people. For example, information about someone that Beyond Exchange can contact on your behalf in case of an emergency.

You are also required to upload important legal documentation via our online registration process such as copies of your diplomas, transcripts, passports, reference letters, identity cards etc.

The Way We Use Information

Beyond Exchange does not sell or lease the information you provide. We use the information you provide about yourself when placing a request, to apply to a program, or to use our services and/or to make your posting of information available as instructed on your service request, to complete the service requested, and follow up accordingly.

We use the information you provide about yourself to make information about the programs and services that fall within the scope of your order or information request available to you. We do not share this information with outside parties except Beyond Affiliate Cultural Partners or your authorized overseas agents to the extent necessary to make arrangements for program participation, to complete the order, or for delivery of related information we deem important for you to receive.

We use the information you provide about someone else when placing an order to e-mail information or ship the information or product and to confirm delivery. On occasion, we use your information to provide details about other opportunities that fall within the scope of your order or information request available to you.

We use return e-mail addresses to answer the e-mail messages we receive, provide the information you have requested, and follow up accordingly. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

You can register on our Web site if you would like to sign up to attend Beyond Exchange events/seminars, receive our magazine, informational brochures, catalogs, or updates on our new programs and services.

On our Web site, www.beyondexchange.org, you can post your resume and biographical data; this information will be available to registered and prospective Beyond Human Resource Specialists who access the trainee candidate resume database. Although we make our best efforts to have only hiring managers and human resource professionals access the resume databases, we cannot guarantee that other individuals will not gain unauthorized access to your resume or that the information will be used in ways different from its intended purpose.

We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our Web site and to share general Web site usage data with sponsors or partner service providers. For example, we may tell a service provider that X number of individuals visited a certain service area on our Web site or that Y number of Europeans visit the site, and that Z number of electrical engineering candidates filled out our registration form, but we would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals without their consent.

Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us on-line in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

How You Can Access or Correct Your Information

You can access all the personally identifiable information that we collect and maintain by logging in to Beyond Exchange website with your user id and password.

You can correct factual errors in your personally identifiable information by sending us a request that credibly shows error. Send those requests to info@beyondmanagement.org. You may also do so by physically logging into your profile and using the option to edit.

To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.

Information Request

If you or anyone associated with you require an employment confirmation or any other letters and/or verification regarding your employment with us, please download the Privacy Release Form which includes the Request for Reference Letters, fill it out completely, sign date and email it to info@beyondmanagement.org. Such requests are handled on first come first serve basis and it may take us two to three weeks to verify the information and get the appropriate letters issued by the HR Department. Please know that your privacy is important to us and no personal information will be given out without the appropriate release form in place.
